Two big days happening in the space of a week and still no extra Bank Holiday.
One is something that everyone’s already extremely bored with and the other is… well, we’ll let you be the judge of that.
As with the build-up to any big event, we don’t want to overload you with anything that prevents you from finalising all the last-minute stuff and getting yourself geared up for the pre-day excitement.
Unless you’re an insomniac, there are only 30 more sleeps until GDPR Day.
That’s right, after what seems like an eternity of build-up, this hugely anticipated/dreaded day for many will finally arrive on Friday 25th May 2018.
So, how will you fare?
Can you rest easy at night, sleeping soundly in the knowledge that you’re all sorted? Or will you be tossing and turning furiously, haunted by the spectre of ICO and all the GDPR stuff that you’ve conveniently put off?

And since we got our 2018 Proverb-A-Day desk calendar here at Databasix, apart from it bringing out our inner muses, we can’t help but notice how many of them seem relevant to GDPR.
Take good old data, for instance. It’s said that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. So, what does that imply about risk levels when a whole load of information is involved? Like someone’s entire personal history?
For many, this time of year throws up lots of questions: Does the Easter Bunny really exist? When did Creme Eggs get so small? And did I really manage to eat all that chocolate in one sitting?
So, here’s a conundrum of our own for you: PD + SD = SC.
